PADI Discover Scuba Diving A quick and easy introduction into what it takes to explore the underwater world. Although this is not a scuba certification course, you'll learn all the steps it takes to be a PADI certified diver.<br/>Description: Have you always wondered what it's like to breathe underwater?<br/>If you want to try scuba diving, but aren't quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is for you. Divers &co offer this program either in a pool, off a beach or from a dive boat. While not a scuba certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world. To sign up for a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience, you must be at least 10 years old. No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health.

Open Water Diver is the first scuba certification level. A highly-trained PADI Instructor will teach you how to scuba dive in a relaxed, supportive learning environment. By the end of the course, you'll have the skills and knowledge to dive at home or abroad and be an ambassador for the underwater world.

The PADI Scuba Diver course is a subset of the PADI Open Water Diver course. If you're short on time but really want to become a diver, the PADI Scuba Diver rating might be right for you—particularly if you expect to go scuba diving primarily with a dive guide. This course is an intermediate step for earning an Open Water Diver certification, if that's your ultimate goal.<br/><br/>PADI Scuba Divers are qualified to:<br/><br/>Dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional to a maximum depth of 12 metres/40 feet.<br/>Obtain air fills, rent or purchase scuba equipment and participate in dive activities as long as properly supervised.<br/>Continue dive training by completing the PADI Open Water Diver certification and taking certain specialty diver courses.

The Diving Refresher Course is designed for certified divers who haven’t been in the water for a while and want to regain confidence, refresh essential skills, and dive safely again. If it's been a while since your last dive, this course helps you feel comfortable and ready before joining a dive trip or liveaboard.

After completing the Emergency First Response CPR & AED course, you’ll know how to aid someone who may be experiencing cardiac arrest with an AED (Automatic External Defibrillator), or by providing traditional or hands-only CPR.
